Creating digital identity for Maat Events
Maat Events, a leading company in the events industry, faced the challenge of revamping their online presence.
Their existing website no longer met the growing expectations of their customers and no longer reflected the elegance and customization that characterizes their events.
The website lacked a modern look and functionality, which is essential for attracting and converting visitors in this competitive market.
The challenge was to create a digital platform that reflects Maat Events’ sophistication and creativity, while providing an intuitive user experience that guides visitors from initial introduction to booking an event.
From Competitive analysis to UI/UX design
At dusver, we understand that good design begins with an in-depth knowledge of the industry, target audience and competition.
For Maat Events, we started with a comprehensive competitive analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of leading companies in the events industry.
This analysis gave us insight into opportunities for Maat Events to stand out in the marketplace.
Competitive analysis & research
Our approach began with a detailed competitive analysis.
We examined the websites of leading event companies to understand their design aesthetics, user flows and content strategies.
These insights formed the basis for Maat Events’ UI/UX design, where we identified unique opportunities to provide a more personalized and streamlined user experience.
User experience (UX) flow & wireframing
With a clear picture of the competitive landscape, we then focused on the user experience.
We mapped out the entire user journey, from the moment a visitor lands on the homepage to booking an event.
This process included creating detailed wireframes that outlined the structure of each page, ensuring a logical and intuitive flow.
Our goal was to create a seamless experience that effortlessly guides users through the site, making it easy to explore services, view past events and contact Maat Events for their event needs.
We prioritized key user actions, such as quick access to event portfolios and contact forms, to ensure that key information was always at their fingertips.
UI Design: creating a visual identity
After the wireframes were completed, we moved on to the visual design.
The UI design for Maatevents.com was inspired by the sophisticated and vibrant identity of their brand.
We selected a color palette that reflected the elegance of their events, while ensuring readability and visual appeal.
High quality imagery, dynamic layouts and subtle animations were used to create a visually engaging experience that resonated with the brand’s target audience.
The design was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.
We integrated responsive design to ensure the website provided a consistent experience across all devices, from desktops to smartphones.
The new UI design positioned Maat Events as a modern, progressive company capable of delivering high-end event services.

Although we are still waiting for the full data set, initial results are promising.
Maat Events’ new website offers a greatly improved user experience, which has led to positive customer feedback and increased engagement on the site.
Thanks to the optimized user flow, we expect a significant increase in conversion rates and a reduction in bounce rate as more visitors experience the benefits of the new design.
